Aluminum 5083 circle is an extremely durable, corrosion resistant alloy widely used in maritime, air and aerospace applications. Mainly 93.5-95% aluminum, with 4.0-4.9% magnesium, 0.4-0.7% manganese, and small amounts of chromium, iron, silicon and copper. This design provides excellent strength, especially in the cold, and outstanding resistance to seawater and industrial chemicals. Its mechanical properties include 350 MPa tensile strength, 230 MPa yield strength and 10-15% elongation, making it ideal for high strength, tough applications requiring resistance to stress corrosion cracking and fatigue.
